Taxes

The Village of Greenwood receives funding through an Area Rate which is collected by the Municipality of the County of Kings, along with County property taxes.

Area Tax Rates for 2022

Residential and Resource Rate	.25 cents per hundred of assessed value
Commercial Rate	.31 cents per hundred of assess value

The Village of Greenwood operating and capital budget is presented at the Annual General Meeting, which must be held prior to July of each year.
